Dummy Maintenance

  • The drag dummies are made from durable canvas, but they are likely to get dirty during normal use. It is recommended that the dummies wear overalls so that when the dummy gets dirty, the overalls can be removed and washed.

  • If the dummy does become soiled, wipe it down with a damp cloth and stand it up to dry. If the dummy becomes soiled with oil or other similar substances, use a small amount of paraffin on the siled arrea,  then wipe the dummy down with soapy water to remove the paraffin.

  • If the dummy has got wet during use or through cleaning, hang it up in a dry place by using a loop of rope. The dummy should dry quite quickly.

  • Dummies should be completely dry before returning to stores
